I came on this by chance…it is like no other honey…it has a texture which is pure luxury on the tongue… It’s a joy just to savour a small spoon full. It’s hard to weigh its charm against that of the Heather honey …they are of equal delight but so different. This honey is almost decadent…and yet…it is pure and natural. Wonderful.

This is on a par with my other favourite set honey, from Littleover Apiaries. It has a really nice fine grain texture to it, as well as being simultaneously smooth, and it gets spread on hot toast regularly. Will be buying more. Have to say, the smell of the Northumberland Honey Co honeys is just sublime!

Dring lockdown I watched a zoom presention on honey, after which I decided to source local honey, and found Northumberland Honey . Since then I have tried the full collection, although it is difficult to choose, I think my favourite has got to be Wildflower Soft Set Honey, that is the one you will always find in my cupboard.

Really lovely honey, I buy the soft set ones and it tastes great. Not too strong and a spreading consistency which is so convenient. I gave some to my brother and he has it every day on toast, I have a spoonful morning and night. Gorgeous stuff 😁!

I,ve reviewed this soft set honey before, but I still think it’s the best flavoured honey I’ve had. Also unlike some I’ve bought, it doesn’t crystallise after a while. The packaging is excellent, really strong jar holders and shredded cardboard so not one jar has broken, and I’ve bought a good few from them. Plus they really care for their bees, lovely family business.

I was really curious about this honey when I saw it for sale while on holiday in Northumberland; I’d never heard of ‘creamed’ honey before. My partner and I love trying different honeys whenever we visit a new area, so gave it a go – and, oh, my goodness, it’s delicious. The texture is unlike anything else I’ve had, and the taste truly is creamier and smoother somehow. Gorgeous! Now, I buy several at once online and get it delivered to my doorstep, as other honeys just don’t compare. Highly recommended.
