Visit the Meadery
We have an onsite shop open 9am to 3pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Please note we are closed in the summer beekeeping season on a Tuesday and a Thursday.
We are open for tastings of the Sparkling Meads and range of honey. Booking is usually not necessary unless for larger groups of over 6.
Outside of these times we operate an honesty box system for the honey.
Beekeeping experiences are also run from our base, to book one please book via the online shop once booked you can view dates on the booking calendar, beekeeping experiences get booked up quickly so we recommend booking well in advance. Available dates are in August and April.

If booking as a gift and you do not know the date the recipient can attend, we will simply send your gift voucher out to you or your recipient with instructions on how to book.
3) Book your date and time on the calendar below – in the notes section put your order number as the reference so payment for the tour and tasting can be allocated

Visit the Meadery Shop
The meadery shop is open 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours we operate an honesty box system for the honey.
We have a disabled access WC and ample parking.
There is a bee enclosure on site where we undertake queen rearing so you can see the bees flying, on occassion you may catch a glimpse of our beekeepers working the bees too.
The bees are safely behind a mesh screen but please keep a safe distance from them too.
Location, How to Find Us
Located in an accessible position at the west end of Haltwhistle.
By Car
Take the west turning into Haltwhistle (Carlisle side) and then the first left into Haltwhistle Industrial Estate. Then left again down the hill, keep going and you’ll see our green building with sign in front of you.
By Bus
The AD122 serves Haltwhistle from Hadrians Wall.
The 685 stops in Haltwhistle from Carlisle to Hexham.
There is a bus stop conveniently located at the top of our industrial estate.
By Train
Haltwhistle Train Station is a 10 minute walk from us, with regular trains from Newcastle and Carlisle with onwards connections to the west and east coast mainlines.
