Apideas for Sale – With Bees

We’ve increased colony numbers significantly over the years, and as a result we’re changing up our mating systems to full sized frames/ hives a system we’ve developed ourselves, as a result have a number of Apidea mating nucs for sale.

These will be available from start of August 2025.

We are very lucky to be in a part of the country that is free of EFB and AFB, so please buy with confidence that these bees are in excellent health and condition.

As are the apideas. Some are upto 5/6 years old, with the majority around 2-3 years old and some around 1 year. There are some minor cosmetic marks as to be expected with used Apideas, but on they are all serviceable and in good working order ready to go and get queen bees mated!

We are looking to sell these Apideas with bees so that the purchaser has chance to mate another queen in the 2025 season with these Apideas and allow the purchaser to get the best value out of them possible.

Apidea Purchasing Options

1. With bees and brood – queenless ready to accept a cell or virgin queen
2. With emerged queen cell/ newly installed virgin queen (within 24 hours of emergence)
3. With mated Queen

The maximum we have available is 600 and if purchasing upto this amount there is a sliding scale for discounts – see discount pricing table for information.

We plan to have these available with bees so that there is another round of queens possible to be mated from these for the purchaser making them a very viable cost effective option for increasing queen numbers.
