The summer honey is now extracted from the 2025 season is predominantly Lime Trees and bramble, producing an exceptionally light and flavoursome runny honey.
All of our honey does not go above hive temperature even when pre-warmed, we have a dedicated warming room which is set at hive temperture, this enables us to be able to send summer runny honey out runny ready to jar.
Honey is not pasteurized so retains the benefit of ‘raw’ honey and has excellent clarity for regular jarring.
Bulk honey orders can be subject to a 1-2 day lead time before despatch depending on quantity and the time in the beekeeping season.
Naturally all honey sets over time. With our summer honey we pre-warm this before sending out at no extra cost, so this honey will arrive in a fluid state.
Please note, depending on how runny you would like the honey, some final warming may be required once the honey reaches you. This depends on storage, storage time and transport temperature which can effect the rate of setting of honey.

Wildflower Runny honey in bulk. If you enjoy Wildflower honey in jars but can’t get enough quantity then our wildflower honey is now available in bulk buckets.
Wildflower honey is produced by the bees of Northumberland Honey Co during the summer months and is a wonderfully polyfloral honey. With the bees foraging on lime trees, hedgerows, brambles and clover. Depending on the season and what the bees have foraged on, this honey although starting out runny and pre-warmed before shipping, even the summer runny honey will set out over time, this time can vary. As we don’t pasturise the honey i.e it never goes above hive temperature, granulation will occur over time. Runny honey will stay runnier for longer if purchased in the summer months straight after extraction, but if stored and then pre-warmed then it will re-set. This is a natural process that all pure honey goes through.
Spring honey goes through a honey wax separator, this honey does not go above hive temperature even when pre-warmed, as we have a dedicated warming room which is set at hive temperture. Honey is not pasteurized so retains the benefit of ‘raw’ honey and has excellent clarity for regular jarring.
