Our spring honey is a beautiful polyforal wildflower honey produced by our bees in the Tyne and Irthing Valleys in the spring months. Bees forage mostly on hawthorn, dandelions and oilseed crops amongst other spring wildflowers.
Ideal catering size buckets for chefs and restaurants and beekeepers looking to retail.
Available in 1Kg, 4Kg, 6Kg or 14Kg Buckets.
Please note, 1kg and 4kg bulk buckets soon to be discontinued, with the replacement of a 6Kg option now available.
Quantity discount is available on the 14Kg buckets of Spring Honey only at the present time. See pricing table below for more information.
Spring honey goes through a honey wax separator, this honey does not go above hive temperature even when pre-warmed, as we have a dedicated warming room which is set at hive temperture. Honey is not pasteurized so retains the benefit of ‘raw’ honey and has excellent clarity for regular jarring.
Bulk honey orders can be subject to a 1-2 day lead time before despatch depending on how busy we are and whether you’d like the honey pre-warmed or not.
Naturally all honey sets over time. You can select to have the honey pre-warmed to save you doing the warming at no extra cost!
Please note, depending on how runny you would like the honey, some final warming may be required once the honey reaches you. This depends on storage, storage time and transport temperature which can effect the rate of setting of honey.
Our spring set honey is ideal for beekeepers wishing to make soft set honey and in need of a seed honey.
Spring honey will set faster than summer honey! If looking for a more runny summer honey see our Wildflower Summer Honey
Price range: £96.00 through £220.00

Love this honey and I have it on my porridge everyday. I am on my third or fourth order. I prefer it to be not heat treated so it’s easier to use when a little thicker.
It arrives very quickly after ordering and well packaged.
