Spring honey is a polyforal wildflower honey produced by our bees in the Tyne and Irthing Valleys in the spring months.  Bees forage on hawthorn, dandelions and oilseed crops amongst other spring wildflowers.

Clarity

Spring honey goes through a honey wax separator, this honey does not go above hive temperature even when pre-warmed, as we have a dedicated warming room which is set at hive temperture. Honey is not pasteurized so retains the benefit of ‘raw’ honey and has excellent clarity for regular jarring.

Lead time

Bulk honey orders can be subject to a 1-2 day lead time before despatch depending on how busy we are and whether you’d like the honey pre-warmed or not.

Set Honey or Pre-warming?

Naturally all honey sets over time. You can select to have the honey pre-warmed to save you doing the warming at no extra cost!

Please note, depending on how runny you would like the honey, some final warming may be required once the honey reaches you. This depends on storage, storage time and transport temperature which can effect the rate of setting of honey.
